NSAL Florida East Coast Chapter offers several competitions each year. During the 2018-2019 season, our categories include Collaborative Piano and Brass Duo Competition (finals were held November 10, 2018), the National Drama Competition and the annual Dorothy Lincoln-Smith Voice Competition. Details for open competitions below.
National Drama Competition
We are proud to announce our call for Dramatic Artists. Application Deadline is February 22, 2019.
We are seeking actors age 18 to 28, who are NOT under exclusive contract to a theatre, flim or TV agent, and must not be under professional management.
Chapter Level Competition will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 9am at the Crest Theater at Old School Square in Delray Beach.
You must first win at the Chapter Level to be eligible for the National Competition. Chapter Level Winners will be awarded a $2,000 first prize, a $1,000 second prize and a $750 third prize by the Florida East Coast Chapter. In addition, our Chapter winner will receive an all expense paid trip to Washington, DC to compete in the National Competition May 30 - June 2, 2019.
The First Place Prize at the Natonal Level is $12,000 and other monetary prizes will be awarded for Second, Third and Fourth Place.

2019 Dorothy Lincoln-Smith Voice Competition
Applications due February 15th!
Applicants must be 23-31 years of age by February 15, 2018. Former applicants including recipients of the Winston Voice Scholarship are encouraged to enter. First place winners of the DLS Competition may not enter again.
Two applicants from this chapter will be selected to compete in the National Competition for $10,000 in varying prizes, the top being $5,000.
