This year, NSAL is bestowing scholarships to woodwind (bassoon, clarinet, flute, and oboe) performers between the ages of 19-25. The deadline to apply for the local competition is February 12, 2018. Students must be non-professionals and attend a college located in southeast Florida. This competition will be held on March 3, 2018, at Lynn University.
Three scholarships will be awarded:
First Prize - $2,000, all expenses paid to National Competition
Second Prize - $1,000
Third Prize - $750
The first prize winner will compete for a $12,000 scholarship at the NSAL 2018 Annual Meeting in Chautauqua, New York from May 21-27, 2018
